Toyed around with the idea. Actually wanted to maybe put one on but also maybe leave the foot shifter for in town heavy traffic. Just tossing ideas around.

I've thought about it, but thats probably as far as I'll ever get. Seems to me it would be a real hassel to use and dangerous in close quarters........Although I've got to admit it sure would add a slick look to the bike.

Would you have to move to a foot clutch? This looks totally sick but It would be almost impossible to clutch with your left hand and reach over and shift with your right. Am I wrong here?

Great thanks Gunshow now I have a new obsession. A jockey shift with an autoclutch. Check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Izc2oTImyjc

They don't call them "Suicide shifts" for nothing.

You can't keep both ... the clutch lever is moved from thehandlebar to the left foot and the shift linkage moves from the foot lever to the shift handle.

ooh yes you can... i have seen plenty of people that just run a bar up from the shift linkage, and call that a jocky shift... now a true jocky will use a foot clutch but what he is thinking of was postingon here about a year ago... it is a normal shifter with a bar off the shift linkage... kind of pointless not to mention must be impossible to use with the clutch on the same side... just for looks i guess.
