A long time has passed since this has been posted. I wonder if anybody has any long term experience with this modification. Is it worth the time and expense?

 

Having just ordered a black one my experience is that prices have gone UP! Cost with tax was $49 and change for a black one which is now 58520-79B

With the barn door on my Super Fat I don't really get any buffeting but there is a fair bit of wind noise blowing up into my FF helmet, without that the ride would be pretty quiet so hopefully it works.
