Anyone done this tip on a 2007 Street Bob? Or a scoot that has a similar tripple tree? I bought the part and am getting ready to "trim" it, but on my 2007 Street Bob the baffle will not sit back as far as the one in the pictures that the original poster (20LowRider02) showed above. The baffle will actually be right between the forks, just to the rear of the forks center line, from front to back, on my scoot.

Just wonderin' if anyone has a similar fitment on thier scoot?

Thanks

I was going to ask the same question. I bought one the other day for my '08 and saw that there is much more interference than on the original poster's bike.

I wonder how much of the wind buffeting that people complain of is actually their glasses bouncing up and down.

I got a new pair of riding glasses (Wiley X) and surprisingly enough the buffeting went away. I wear my Oakley M Frames and it comes back . . .

oldbie,
I got mine to fit on just fine. I did not have to trim the area where the bolt goes thru, just left it alone. I just trimed off about 1/2 inch on each side and bolted it up.

It works, however, I still get some minor buffeting - but nowhere near as bad as without the baffle.

I'm glad to see others are having the same luck I am with my design!
