Mines done the same under the same conditions. Its the only let down and frankly on a bike costing £9000 ( $18000) it ain,t good enough. Im planning on stainless rims and spokes next winter, those big fat (3/8") radial spokes. Its a bummer but i,d never sell her, typical woman pisses you off but you love her even more because of it.
Let us know the dealers reaction as there might be a case for some "compo", but i would,nt hold your breathe.

I live three houses from the Pacific on the Oregon Coast. My bike is less than two years old and my wheels are rusting. I try to clean it after every ride and sometimes in between but can't keep. Was at Paradise HD talking to one of their mechanics and he said he uses as hand held steam cleaner on his entire bike and it really cleans things up including taking rust off the spokes. He said to careful around the coil and electronics.

Ride Safe.
