big guy on little dyna superglide

Im 6'4", 330lbs.. just got a 2001 FXDXT Dyna Superglide.
It has forward controls and mini-apes... I do feel that I am sitting a little too close to the foot controls, but the arms are great. Are there more than one size/dimension of forward controls? Can I get them longer?
Im a newbie rider, but love the bike.
PS: my good friend has a road king and insists that a dyna is too small for me. Is a road king that much longer in the layout - geometry? He's like 5'9" and rides his RK just fine, how can it be that much more of a reach for me. My dyna has been upgraded from a 88 to a 95, power is more than enough for me.

HD Tallboy seat, highway pegs, wide drag bars (can use same cables), and learn to shift and brake with yer heels (aftermarket forwards leave too little room between shifter and peg for my tastes; my bro had his foot almost torn off at the ankle when he got hung up in a crash). It'll make a helluva difference in the reach/feel and won't be too expensive.
BTW ... I feel more comfy on my Super than on any Softail-based scoot. Dunno where this "Fatboy/Softail/etc. is better for big guys." thing comes from. Total bull****, except the WideGlide is a bit better (owned one for ten years).

Dam, old thread getting some new life, so here, 6'0" - 290lbs.
First off lets see here, who the hell really cares what others may think? Hell half of them are just jealous they do not even own a HD.
If you want to make your bike seem "bigger" (easier than making yourself smaller, tried that it sucks), maybe a set of bags on it? Windshield? Engine guard? and so on. Just some ideas to help
