Dude, black pearl--Nice. My 05 softail is black pearl-----Although it isn't really black, is it? I'm partcialy colorblind, but everyone has there own opinion as to what color it really is. I'm going with charcoal grey as my guess. NO DYNO UNTILL BROKEN IN!!!!!!!

Just another opinion- Never Dyno a new bike- the data can very well change thru break in anyway, and you can really hurt the new engine (Just watch the Carrol Shelby Bike Episode #2 of OCC........

Agreed that a new bike should not go on a dyno. Interesting though, a Wisconsin dealership, the 3rd largest in the United States, puts their new bikes on dynos right from jump. Because of the horrible weather, the service head said that is the only way they can test their bikes because of the ice and snow.

I'll get the Stage One done soon.... then go back after a 1000 or so to do the dyno, IF I think it is necessary. To gain only a couple of horsepower and pay nearly $400 doesn't seem too cost effective, though. If I could gain significant power, then it might be.

I have the same color, and love it. Bit of a bitch keeping the swirls out, but its a nice way to keep in touch with the bike over the winter :-)
I have to admit iv caught a bit of a custom bug and cant keep my nose out of the cataloge and my wallet out of the dealer.

Got the Stage one kit done with K&N Air cleaner and added the V and H pipes
You will be very happy. I would love to bump to the stage 2, will wait to hear more feed back if the money is worth spending

I've seen dealerships that will upgrade everything before it leaves the floor. You just have to take it easy and follow the break in period. Then you can ride it like you stole it.
