My bike had those grips but in chrome when I bought it. They were horrible. I switched to the Nostalgic grips and it was like night and day. They are great.

+2 on the Nostalgic grips, but they are butt *** ugly.

Just put these on my bike tonite and they are a much better feel than the Flame Collection grips I was running the last year.

I use a throttle rocker on long rides. You attach them with velcro and apply the throttle with your palm. Cost about $20.

I have the nostalgic grips on my 07 street bob and love them--very comfortable.
+1 I've got them on my bob and, no doubt, they're very comfortable.

Nostalgic Grips by HD. Great look and comfy. The throttle assist by Kuryakyn is a must have. Not the plastic one but the cheap rubber one(10 bucks) is all thats needed. Its more like a nub but enough to let you relax the throttle hand.

How hard is it to change out grips? I have an 06 Super Glide with stock grips and I'd like to replace them.

I recently put the black diamond grips on but not the type you have shown, I have Harley part 56405-08, I think they are the best looking grips out there, really comfortable too, I also put matching footpegs front and rear, although I have already scrapped the right hand one trying to keep up with a BMW around some tight bends on my 07 bob, I didn't stand a chance and should have known better, he baited me though!
