Default DRILL INTO WINDSHELD FOR EZ PASS

I have a Harley quick release windsheild. I want to mount my ezpass holder onto the windsheild. I plan on removing the 3 suction cups and replacing them with 3 chome screws and mounting them just below the cross bar on the left side. My question is, has anyone ever drilled into the windsheild. And if so any tips.
Thanks
Jason

Why not use the velcro that comes with the pass. Holds like hell in my truck. I just throw in the windshield pouch on the bike.

Yeah I'd go with the tape stuff too, it's called 3M Dual Lock tape. The Illinois I Pass gives it to you for free, just stop in the manual lane and ask!

I have mine on the inside of the windshield, secured with the velcro tape they supply. Never had any trouble. I even transfered it from one windshield to the other, but wouldn't peel it off too many times and expect it to keep sticking.
I can tell you this much though.......Holding it in your left hand while cruising through doesn't work [&o]

Just zip tie to your bars. My buddy has it like that on his Sporty and it looks like ****, but does the job.

Thanks guys, I was using the double sided tape that came with it . Drove it to work one day on a cold morning and it pulled off without any effort. Think I will try the fork bag suggested. Now I have to get one.
Stealership hereI come.

Thanks
Jason
