I bought velcro strips from Home Depot for $ 3.00 . It has been on there for some time know with no problems. I have it tucked inside lower left side , u can't even notice it unless your looking for it. I live in Jersey and have ridden without it before I mounted it and never recieved a ticket. But I wouldnt leave the state without it.

I use the 3M standard velcro tape they give ya on the windshield of my FLHRCI. As long as you have it lined up correctly it won't come off. Just remember to take it off when you get where yoiu're going or it may walk!

In Illinois, if you have an IPASS, you cannot get ticketed. I have 2 bikes and 2 cars/trucks registered to one IPASS, and it only stays in the truck. I've never even removed it from my glove compartment. Never had an issue. As long as you have the plates and vehicle registered, they verify it.

It would be benificial to check out EZ PASS rules and admin fees though.

Illinois specifically makes it not so much of a problem, as long as you have an account in good standing. They would, however, give you some grief if you were going through the tolls several times a day and *never* had your I-Pass.
