Default Is there an 88 to 103 kit for carbed bikes?

I guess the thread title puts it pretty well. I've been looking, but the kits I've seen talked about are all for Fuel Injected machines.Would the same kit work on a carbed bike?I've got a carbed2003 88 cube with just SE cleaner and V&H BSS (as far as I know) and would like to start pricing around and finding out what's out there. Thanks.

A kit is really just someone elses collection of parts based on their experience; handy if you don't feel comfortable picking everything out yourself. Truth is, most reputable builders/suppliers know what combinations will give you the results your after; ie: I went with HQ's recommendations as I used mostly their stuff; threw in a few things based on what I want and what my wrench figured (he's way smarter than me and I can trust him) and viola:

Pretty impressive sheet, can you break down your set-up for me? I'll talk to a couple indys in the next couple weeks, I just like to know what they're saying to me.

my opinion, if your gonna split the cases to do a 103 you might as well bore the cases and go 110 or bigger. already spending the money for the crank anyways.

Generally, yeah 95 inches from 88 without $plitting the ca$e$. There's a 98" set of cylinders out there, but if you're going 95" you can have your cylinders bored. A brother of mine has a 100/100 95" with HQ parts; very strong torque in the bottom end. If I was splitting the cases again I'd go with a HQ120"...massive grunt; but I'm satisfied with my setup and will instead spend my money riding it again this summer. Here's what went into my 103:

Stock heads re-done by HQ
HQ 033G cams with S&S gear drives
HQ lifters
HQ ignition
SE crank
SE perfect fit pushrods
SE 51CV
SE air filter
SE comp releases
SE clutch spring
2" Cycle Shacks

Most indies will "push" what package they are most familiar with/profit from. There's a lot of money to be made in headwork since there's more margin in labor than in parts so there's a lot of people out there doing it; most reputable shops should be okay; look for reccommendations on this board, but accept no ones word without question. For example, a lot of indies will diss the CV; I believe it's because only HD sells 'em. This is my 4th HD performance build. Also when you're looking at dyno sheets; check out when the dyno was even started ie: what RPM. Another brother was raving about a 120+hp 95"; when I looked at the sheet the dyno run started at 3000rpm...obvously NO bottom end on that motor. About as practical as mukluks in Manhatten,

Thanks guys...It's a big help. Besides $$$, I think the best thing I can have while shopping around is some knowledge.

Hey man I just did a 95" kit that my friend/indy put together for me. We pieced together everything from ebay, HD, and Jireh Cycles. You can get much more aggressive than my setup but I was going for bang for the buck. I'd get a Mikuni carb too while you are at it. The performance gain between the throttle response of the new carb with the torque of the big bore kit is amazing. Here's a rough list of what I got:

203 cams
SE high performance pistons and head gaskets
adjustable pushrods
cylinders bored out by a local shop
SE race ignition module
SE clutch spring
42mm Mikuni carb

That was about $1500 including labor

I added an Ultima 6 speed trans for 1k more
