PCIII USB - Canned map or dyno for me???
Knowing I wanted the Big Radius 2-2 pipes on my bike, I put the SE air cleaner on in order to meet the specs for the map provided by dynojet for that setup. I installed the O2 eliminators and kept the stock ECM per the map specs. The map I used is M814-003. Being that my specs are exactly what that map calls for, I've always assumed I'd be ok with it. However, after reading up on what issues some people are having, I'm not so sure I should be using that map. My bike takes a few extra cranks to start, but other than that, she seems to run pretty good.
Does anyone have any opinions on whether I should just leave the damn thing alone being that I don't have too much for issues, or should I splurge and get it tuned with the risk that I may not gain anything?

I had the same setup on my bike. Your bike will take a few extra cranks unless you hit your on switch and then immediatly after hit the start button. That is the only way I got mine to start with less cranks. Going on the dyno would be a waste of money in my opinion. If you want to do a dyno run buy a cam and make it worth your while. Get a custom tune for a reason. Your bike will run just fine with that download.
Now what I ended up doing was a killer 95 inch build and bought a thunderheader. But before I bought the engine stuff I just bought the Thunderheader I put that on and well I can't tell you how much better that pipe is for the bike. It ran way way way way way way...better. More power and punch. The Big Radius is a cool looking pipe but as far as performance it doesn't take the cake. Try the quick start method above first. Otherwise buy a cam and then take it to the dyno...you'll be real dissapointed if you just do a dyno run with your current setup.
hope that helps

Ahh hahahaha, I got the hookup through our DynoJet product specialist. He's got a guy that will does mapping for dynojet. He's gonna dyno my bike for free and update dynojet's map for them if necessary. SAAAWEEEEEEET!!! I'd like to get cams and head down again, but I just don't have the money right now to get that done. It's gonna have to wait til next winter.
