I've started going with the billet style grip, pegs etc and some of the skull collection (fell in love with the mirrors), but still not sure what direction I'm heading. Right now I have parts sitting in my house waiting for a bike that I haven't gotten home yet.

I went with the iso collection.

Agree with tartan the grips are a bit thick & i didnt like the throttle boss - so that came off.

Put the large pegs on the front & medium on the rear.

I think these are love em or hate em pegs but I went for some Kuryakyn Widow foot and shifter pegs. The matching grips are really cool looking I think but i don't have them.

ORIGINAL: Robert Le Gras

I know that Karen has added some grips and pegs to her lovely Fat Bob. . . . Anyone else? There are some interesting collections available.

I like the "Flame" collection, but the footpegs are not "compatible" for the FXDF (I think they're longer and may scrape earlier, but they WILL fit, is this a big issue?)

I also like the Stealth footpegs and shifterpeg, and sort of like the handgrips. . . They reflect the tommy gun heat sheild on the pipes in a way.

I also think the X2 hand grips are very cool.
I have the flame kit on my Fat Bob, and have not had any trouble.... Anybody know why they say they will not fit???

My dealer person (via email) said they do fit the bike, but that Harley doesn't consider them for this model, probably he guessedbecause of ground clearance; they may be a little longer and may scrape earlier under hard cornering.

I'm not sure it's a concern, isn't if you have been using them with no problem. I myself don't plan on driving that aggressively that foot pegs will scrape.

I put the X2 grips on with aileron pegs and shifter peg they look great together. Also changed out the brake pad for a striped badge one.

Good luck with your choice

I have the flame grips onBut haven't put the pegs on yet. They look ok but there are definately some better looking ones out there. Got them free from the dealer when I bought the bike. I should have thought a little more before I said flames.

I went outside of the HD grips realm.
