i agree it's not good to bash any body's ride .to each there own as long they are having fun. it dont matter.everybody who has a differnt model belive's they are the best. so it's a on going war but to me you got to respect people for the fact it's still a harley.

I've heard the same from the "big twin" crowd. Bashing anothers scoot is a sign of being stupid, this goes both ways.

 

it has to do with the power/weight ratio.... you can have a 1000 pound bike with a stage 2 and it won't do anything against a bike half the weight with 2/3 of the Cubic inches

those little sporties can whip around because they're so light

 

I don't like to hear anyone bashing anyones ride, either ... They are all good bikes in my opinion....But I don't think I know of anyone who believes they 'can't ride' their bike because it was 'too much engine' for them to handle. I have even driven some suped up bikes in my time with BIG power and have never had a problem .... AND I'M A GIRL!

 

mandog I dont know where you got your numbers at but a stock 883 has close to 50 hp and a 1200 is around 68 hp. my 04 would dyno around 83 hp and do about 81ftlbs of tq obviously it wasnt stock . my burning question is wouldnt it have been safer to go on a contruction site and say john wayne was gay than go to the sportster forum and beat on there scoots[sm=bangbang.gif].
if you want to have some real fun go to a honda forum and read about the guy with the 750 shadow who smokes harleys all the time lol by the way I love my new fatbob and glad I traded for a dyna.
