So you now acknowledge the superiority of the Sportster![sm=burnout.gif]
Facts are facts, and they will follow you where-ever you go.[sm=lildevil.gif]

I don't know the specs on the Dyna, but Ido think its a beautiful bike(a bit too large for me though, especially since I'm a newbie). However, on the 1200 50hp issue,I've read otherwise. For example, a critic from Motorcycle Thailand says: "For the XL1200N, Harley uses the well-known air-cooled 1199.5cc Evolution engine, which has a 88.90mm bore, and a 96.77mm stroke producing a compression ratio of 9.7:1 giving you about 70-horse power..."Add new pipes and SE air cleaner/re-map to stock, pushing hp out another 7-10, and I am a happy lass!
And is seems to be a commonly shared opinion that torque is actually where its at--why this newbie has soooo much respect for her throttle [sm=biker.gif]! An L.A. times critic says on the Nightster: "...the Nightster's rubber-mounted Evolution V-twin engine features high-flow cylinder heads that allow more air, higher compression and, as a result, better power. Harley doesn't releasehorsepower figures, but the bike's 79.10 pound-feet of torque never left me wanting..."
Sorry if the Sporty folks were ornery--they can be a bit cantankerous, I agree. I've had to hold my own a bit as well. But heh, I've got Nightster mojo--bring it on[8D]!Happy riding, whatever you ride.

RE: I got destroyed in the Sportster Room
Just think if no one was ever thoughtful enough to respond to rediculous statements made in other forums they probably didn't belong in (maybe thats why I used to get kicked out of lesbian chat rooms?). Life here would be pretty boring and we could'nt take up 3 pages bashing/defending Sportster power output and describing the type of genitals required to ride bigtwin/sportster. What demon in me possesses me to add to this mess? What did I do with my free time before this site started to consume my every waking moment? Oh yeah, its still winter. Never mind.

RE: I got destroyed in the Sportster Room
"Sensitive" I prefer "****".
I am on a Sporty , I think I am lucky that I have owned just about every HD model though.
I think a lot of ? new/wanabees/etc .. are over there, I know the price of the bike helped alot of them.
About the only reason I am on a Sporty though was because all the other HD's were actually to
fast/quick for me.
To fall on there sides at times I mean , always at a standstill , I ain't that big , to much bike for me.
The only reason I actually saw this thread is because I accidentaly entered this forum instead of the Sportster forum.
Good day chaps ...
