Default Dyna suspension

Thinking of moving from XL 883 to SGC the sportster bottoms out wondering if Dyna would be better, I weight in at 209 and really need a softer ride and more power but do not want the same feel I have now Rough!!
Does the Dyna have alot better ride or is it like the sportster?? Just bigger

I am about 230 and ride an 07 lowrider, I do not notice the bike bottoming out with me on it. I personally think it is a good ride when I am solo, add my wife 130lbs, on the back and then I start to notice a little rougher ride. I do know the rear shocks are adjustable as well but I have never messed with it, maybe that would help.

The stock shocks on the dynas can be adjusted and with two up riding the second or third adjust will bring back the glide in Superglide. The adjustments only take a few seconds and don't forget to adjust your tire pressures for two up riding, enjoy your ride.

Wolfy,
The holes around the bottom cover is where you turn the pre-load adjustment
with a puchased or home made spanner wrench. Some can turn it with just their
hand.

You'll have no problems with the SG. Does a great job with 2-up. Probably the best 2-up bike if you like everything about the sporty 'cept 2-up riding. With softails and tourers, you give up some of the crisp handling that sportys are famous for. My Dyna is quite a bit more cushy than my sporty, but I can still push it in the corners quite a bit - although I still scrape a peg now and then. Best of both worlds IMO.

I have never bottomed out two up. I and the misses only come at about 325. Easy to adjust the setting on the shocks. The LowRider has numbered system. The ride is way better than my Sporty.

I had Progressive's (front & rear) on my Sportster to help smooth out the ride, but I gotta say my FXDC rides better with the stock setup.
