There. I said it.

Yeah, I had a couple of issues the past 10K miles - things that had me really worried. However, as someone who is kind of non-mechanical, I automatically assumed the worst. Truth is, with a little help from this forum, my issues were so simply solved that all that worrying was for naught. A new air cleaner and a .02 cent washer cured them all. Both were attributed to me - not the manufacturer. Then, the purchase of a SERT and a map compliments of Mudpuddle [via JamieWG], just sealed the deal. The bike runs incredibly.

The past couple of years I learned to service/troubleshoot my bike by myself. Other than the first 1k service, I've done everything else. But, you know what? Other than upgrades/accessories, there hasn't been anything to really do to the bike other than dropping the fluids. This is a well-built machine.

Just thought I'd share my hapiness. [8D]

Glad to hear it wiff. Other than a main transmission bearing going out, and a few adjustments here and there the bike has been incredible. Also like to thank you for posting your video on the BCT baffles you had posted. The video is what did it for me to make the purchase.

 

Dude I feel the same way. Once my 06 Bob was tuned its been running great. No mechanical problems what so ever.
I too have done all my mods and 5,000 and 10,000 mile services. It is quite satisfying.

 

Other bikes have more flash but dynas are just plain fun to ride!

yep mine has not used any oil or had any problems out of it

 

I've had zero problems in m yforst year of owning a HD and could not be happier. Aside from having my indy handling the heavier mechanincal stuff, I do everything myself and it runs like a champ.

I love my HD............................

 

Twin Cam engines are just super tight and reliable....especially with the gear driven cams.....TOUGH motors. They are my favorite Harley V-twin
