I think you made a good choice.

I went with the solar tint on the Rio Grande and it doesn't stand out as much as the HD shields with the cross bar.

I initially had trouble with buffeting, but playing with the adjustments minimized it.
That's a great pic of you bike joe.1955.
Windshield looks good too.

Thanks for the post. Missed it the first time around. Have been considering going to that shield. Cut my HD down a couple of inces & will see how that goes.
Noticed the curvature at the bottom of the Del Rio & have to believe that that has a lot to do with reduced buffeting. Comments?

Here's my chance to give twofish some major props!! I decided on a Memphis Shade, albeit a Memphis Shades Del Rio Windshield in the Solar Color (#MEP5119), on account of how streamlined his windshield looked on his bike. I also anticipated a mini apes handlebar swap, and as it looks on yours, it will be perfect!

As mentioned before: there is hardly any buffeting with a full face Shoei, it is excellent for extended rides, and has a clean looking profile!

Very good choice, I have the same, with gradient yellow. Very easy to install and uninstall. For day to day riding I like to feel the wind but when I go for highway rides for a couples of days I put it on (5-10min). Also not expensive. First time you put it on is tricky, but then, we you get your marks it get's easier every time.
Good move

memphis Shades should give Twofish a paycheck for selling so many people on their shields. I am another customer of Twofish err Memphis Shades andI love their product.

I need to check and see if they have them for Fat Bob's. Does the black shaded area at the bottom of the shield bother you at all as far as obstructing your vision while riding??

Nice looking shield -- I was about to buy the QD, butthe Del Riolooks much better. Does anyone have any pics of the hardware you leaveon when you remove the shield?

When you take the Memphis Shades shields off you are left with something similar to this on your forks...

I chose the black cause I've always tried to balance the black, chrome, and blue when I started adding accessories to my bike. I've never had the black lower bother me in any way whatsoever. I dont know that they make a Sportshield for the twin headlights, but if they do I wouldnt hesitate to buy it. My biggest concern was whether the shield would fit with my top-mounted speedometer .... worked perfect and therake adjust allowed me to get everything right where I wanted it for looks and acomfortable ride.

Thanks ...
