Freaking outstanding Dyna. Makes me want to put a Sporty tank on my bike right now. Its funny really, my Speedo took a poop and its gonna cost me over 300 bucks to get a new one. I bet I could fab up a Sporty tank similar to yours for the same cash and just forget about the speedo all together. Hummmmmm.............

only if you already got a carb instead of the OEM EFI, otherwise it will cost you more than that just to go carb...

- Kudos on a great combination exhaust ... not exactly a real Thunderheader, but the rear end of a 'Thunderheader' grafted onto a more conventional 2-into-1 collector header ....

- Really dig the bobbed rear fender and small brake light ....

- Same for the vintage rubber ... great looking nostalgic Firestone tires ....

I am very impressed by your positive response, thanks.

We put the battery in the left side (a V-rod battery), the chrome piece in the right side cover the fuses.

I use a normal kick start with Daytona Twin Tec ignition (with spark to the 1st turn).

The exhaust is a Thunderheader revisited (sorry for my crap english), we cut collector and rewelded it again.

I'll be happy to upload photos of the process.
