I can't figure out how to change the bulb on this aftermarket headlight.There are no notches in the ring in front of the lens to help unscrew the trim ring.Any ideas?

I had to use a couple of those rubber jar top grippers. Placed one on each side and applied sideways pressure with my fingers to rotate the ring.

 

Good question...I have the same headlight and just yesterday was wonderin' the same thing..

 

i have the same style light and what jampancoast said is probably the best option as that inner ring screws out to get to the bulb and glass.

 

Thanks,that's what I thought but didn't want to tear it up.It would be my luck it had left hand threads or a snap ring hidden somewhere that I figured out right after tearing it into many little pieces.

 

I've got the same light and yes the inner ring unscrews, and once you get that out there is a similar ring on the inside. Not to bad once you get the ring started, just be careful not to crossthread it on the reinstall.
