Default big city thunder baffles in V&H big radius pipes?

What kind of sound would you expect if you take out the stock baffles from the V&H big radius and youput in a a set of big city thunder baffles. I want the same sound you get with the stock baffs but simply just louder. Would the BCT give this effect. WIll it be louder but with the same tone and sound quality? has anyone done this with pleasing results

I would check with BCT to see if they have a baffle that will fit! If they do, they dont advertise it.

Cheers... Ben.

Cool!
If you decide to go for it, make sure you report back with your findings. I have'nt ridden my bike yet since installing the BR's, so dont know whether I'm going to want to change the tone or not.

It will give your pipesa bitchin' tone. Won't have that "tinny" sound that straight pipes have, if ya know what I mean?

email or call BCT. I emailed them a few times and called once.
They were very friendly and helpful.
I recently installed a set of BCT Quiet baffles in my v&h longshots. Sound great!!!!!

This is what they told me in regard to the longshots:
BCT baffle is louder than stock v&h baffle, but sounds much better, deeper sounding.
BCT quiet baffle is quieter than stock v&h baffle, but not by much. A little more tame at low RPM but still
screams at high rev's.

I imagine they'd probably say the same thing about their application for your pipes.

Oh, and just because something isn't on the website doesn't mean they don't make it and sell it.
In fact, the baffles I bought a couple weeks ago are a new product, not even advertised on the website yet, and they sold me a set.

I wouldn't mind trying a set out, but 80 bucks is steep for some metal conduit.

I purchased a used set from a forum member and installed them in my Big Shots Staggereds.&nbsp\\; They sound awesome.&nbsp\\; A little louder than the stock baffles.&nbsp\\; Much deeper tone (sound more like the old Rinehart slip-ons I had).&nbsp\\; The offer a great sounding flutter on decel.

I took the stock baffles out of my Big Radius pipes and put in the Thunder Monsters. Very very nice sound out of them now. The stock baffles are curved and&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;go out all the way to the end of the pipe and slipped out pretty easily. You have to drill a new hole for the screw on the new baffles, keeping the end of the baffle at least 6" from the end of the pipe. Ride Safe.
