The Lowrider is the best kept secret in the Dyna line.

I have to totally agree with that. It is a blast to ride either in town or for weekend get away.

The Low Rider was always one of my favorite rides over the years. Being only 5'7" tall made it even more desireable. Still like it today, though I'm riding an FXDB.

I originally wanted a low rider but settled for the sportster, Kind of made look like a low rider though. I took one out for a test ride a little while back and it rode beautiful, I think they should make them with forward controls though.

Default All my Friends dig da Low Rider

Here is my 2004 LR for your viewing pleasure. Great compromise I use it for long long road trips; then change the seat off with the bag and shield for toodling around the township. Oh did I say its a blast to ride? Noisy, flashy why its like riding around in a motorized ox cart. I just love it.

Peace,
G

Great thread. I had to read thru all 17 pages. I enjoyed all the different versions of the low rider. Each one has it's own personal thouch...After reading thru this thread I had to get out and ride mine. It was 48 degrees here in Washington State today. Had a great ride.....

Default Love My Lowrider

I had a 96 Sporty 1200 Custom and really enjoyed it - but eventually wanted to "move up the ladder". I got a 2003 Low Rider and couldn't be happier. When riding the Sporty on the highway it "shook" at about 65 - nothing serious but definitely noticeable. I have to watch myself on the Low Rider. I'm doing 70+ before I know it and as smooth as can be. Now if it would just warm up enough in Cincy to ride!!
