I like my lowrider but have decided to move on to an Electraglide Classic. Wish I could keep both. Best thing I did to the Lowrider was install the thundermax. What a diff. it made

Jake,
When I went in to buy my Harley, my heart was 110% set on a Low Rider...ended up leavin' with an FXDC? To this day I still wonder about my choice...it was just that I felt the FXDC fit my body-type to a "T". I know there's only a difference of inches bewteen the two, the frame & fenders are the same and blah, blah, blah...ect. But when I sat on the Low Rider I felt like a monster...like I was sitting on my son's 3-wheeler! For whatever reason I didn't feel like that with the FXDC? Could have been the brs, the seat...who knows? Anyway, I still LOVE the Low Rider & consider it the true "King of the Dyna's"!

Default Love my Lowrider!!

I have an 03 Lowrider. My license plate frame reads "Love at First Feel" and that's exactly what it was. Perfect fit for me. Dealer had only one (said he couldn't keep them on the floor!!) and it wasn't the black that I wanted, so they did a dealer trade from L.A. (I live in San Diego). Waited an extra 2 weeks to find it, but it was well worth the wait.

During my sabatical from riding anytime anyone asked what type of bike I was going to get I always said a LR of course. Then when I got serious I was actually considering a Softail Duece on Craigslist. After going back and forth with the owner of an 06 LR totally stock and the Softail I decided on the LR. When I told the Softail guy my decision his response was "A f&%$ing DYNA? Thats when I new I made the right choice. 5,000 in mods and chrome later I am still sure I made the right decision.

I have a 07 Low Rider. My 1st bike in 22 years and 1st HD ever. I love it (except the seat, a little hard). The other day I was at the HD Stealer looking at a Heritage. Salesmen asked me if I was thinking of 'Upgrading' when I told them I had a Low Rider. Who ever said that was an Upgrade? I thought it was just a different bike! Geeeeze. Keeping my FXDL by the way. Was just looking around like I always do.
