Chrome triple-tree and riser for 2006 Low Rider??
I realize that Harley doesn't make these parts in chrome, so my only option would be to send them out to be chromed. I asked my local stealer and they say they don't want to do it because they had problems in the past with the parts coming back with chrome chipping, pealing, etc. so they stopped doing it.
Anyone have any other ideas? I realize I should just send them out myself but I don't have the tools nor expertise to take the tree off and send it out.....

It isn't cheap but there are manufactures out there that make chrome trees for you bike. A good place to start is accutronis.com. They are expensive but make excellent products. You can also do a search for HD chrome fork trees on most any search engine.

Thanks, it's actually www.accutronix.com but I found it nontheless....
They sell what I need, and recommended I get polished because the chrome will peal due to the humidity in NJ.

i gotta tell yah, you can really polish your stock trees up easily to look like chrome and even YOU wouldn't know the difference.... some Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish or some Heavy Metal polish and a little elbow or a Mother's Powerball Mini, and you'd be golden....or....chromen, i should say.... =-)

My stealer said he'd send them out for polish OR chrome, my choice.... but he said the chrome is going to be 50/50 and he can't guarentee it..... (flaking, chipping, etc)
He said polished is probably a better bet but requires a lot of attention to keep it shining on my part....
He's getting back to me tomorrow on prices, I will post and let you guys know.... What do you think though chrome or polished?
Accutronix guy said I shouldn't get chrome due to the humidity in NJ...
