Yup...Don't forget to use heat shrink on the solder connections...

 

Thanks everyone for the input, I was able to fix it with a piece cardboard behind the plunger
I'll go to the stealer to get a replacement v clip as soon as i can.

Changed out the controls months ago, riding last night my tail light went out, brake light works, turn signals work but no tail light. Replaced the bulb, still no light. Need advise. Thanks
