I have the RED and while it's a tightfit, it does a great job for the price. The Yellow is more aluminum and easy to move around, but almost twice the price when I bought mine. Never had an issue with mine and I have used it dozens of times and left the bike lifted on it for days at a time. I think the HD lift block adapters are a nice, cheap investment to use with this or any other lift.

Have the Red Lift 6 monthsand No issues. Yellow is lighter. Red does the trick with HD adapter kit. Price was right for the red.

You'll need to raise your bike up on some 2x4's to get the red jack underneath. with the yellow plus frame adapters, no need to raise up bike first. yellow, as mentioned, is a lot lighter due to aluminum construction. i tried the red, didn't like having to roll my bike up on my make shift 2x4 ramps in order to slide the jack under, so i went with the yellow and haven't looked back, I also use a harbor freight motorcycle stand to lower the bike down onto which makes for an incredibly stable platform.

It sucks that the search is broken. There's a lot of good info there.

I think many others have summed it up well.

The red Sears jack is fine if your bike isn't lowered. Otherwise you'll have to run the bike up on blocks to fit the jack underneath.

The bottle jack (red) MAY leak. If you don't abuse it, you SHOULD be fine.
Use the locks and release jack pressure, that's what they're for.

Harley jack adapters are what the dealer says you should use.....They are handy and inexpensive. You CAN get by without them if crafty with wood or scrap.

I got my Sears red for $60. NIB.

I've heard good and bad things about them. If money is an object go for it. There's jacks that will raise the bike up higher I believe (Pit Bull among others) but they're more they're more money...my friend has a Pit bull and he swears by it.

I bought the yellow one and it works great! I did buy the DYNA adapters and my bike is so low that I still have to push both wheels up on 2x4's to get the lift under.[]

Once on, I can sit on the bike and jack it up until the bike is being held up by the jack then get off, jack it up, then releasethe pressure until it is on the "retainer" and then release the pressure.

Damn near had the bike falloff when I started working on it until I strapped it down! The straps that come iwth the yellow jack are nice.
