Default Screw the strut covers!

Hey folks....been away for a while dealing with life. Finally got back online to show off some of the crap I did before life kicked me in the pebbles a bit...

I was wiring up my LED License plate bolt lights and took the fender off and all that jazz. The more I started looking at the strut covers, the more I realized they were a pointless piece of junk for my bike.I was originally going to have them podwer coated but, man...I just saved myself like $100-$150 by just taking them off!

Check it out;

You can see the new narrow signal mounts on in the above photo as well. I amd going to chop the fender here shortly and using the front turn signal wire socket and leads for the rear brake/run lights.

yeah looks better without the covers. Nice looking bike. keep us posted on the chopped rear fender. I would like to tackle that as well but am a chicken **** when it comes to cutting into my bike, I need to get a replacement fender first.

I think it looks good too, I wouldn't be above painting them if I could see a logical purpose for em but I can't so I sold mine and an extra set of them I had laying around and spent the money on something else.

Well....I didn't actually buy it. I took the stock license plate braket metal and made 1 90* bend to it and viola!
