need info on jiffy stand
i have decided to go with 6" over fork tubes on my wideglide, got the tubes coming, the brake line situation remedied, and now i'm left with just one issue... where the heck do i get a longer jiffy stand that fits a dyna?
i have attatched a couple of (badly) photoshopped pics of what she'll look like when its done.

RE: need info on jiffy stand
while we are on the subject of kickstands.... Has anyone had any problems with their bike not being able to lean over enough after they lower front and rear suspension? I have 11" shocks on the rear and I am considering dropping the front too, but I already have to lean my bike to the right just to get the kickstand out from underneath. And when its down, it doesnt allow the bike to lean over as much as i'd like it to, it seems that it could be tipped over in the opposite direction fairly easily. I'm sorry this doesn't really pertain toyour original post TREE88.

Dirtbag -
HD makes a lowering kit for the 91-05 Dyna. I had the dealer cross reference the jiffy stands for the different years. The 91 -08 all have the same part number -- so eventhough it isn't lsted for an 06 -08, the jiffy stand works perfect.
The springs won't work, but it comes with a shorter jiffy stand. I know it seems crazy to pay $120 and throw out the springs - but I had 11" 412s in the rear and a progressive 1" drop in the front (don't go 2" - tried it, too rough and didn't look right) and the bike would stand nearly straight up on the stock jiffy stand. It was worth every penny of the $120 to know that my bike isn't going to fall over because the jiffy stand was too long (stock) or that it broke, because it was weakened by heat (most common method).
