Default FXD Clutch Question

I noticed both yesterday and today that there's a knock comming from the primary back by the clutch plates area. It may have always done it but I just noticed it. It goes away when the clutch is pulled in and returns when the clutch is let out. I can't hear it when riding as the motor noise drowns it out. Is this normal or is there a potential problem there?

Thanks

Mike

You have a new bike my friend. New bikes always make lots of noises

I don't think thats normal. Possible problems.

Primary chain
Clutch pack
Transmission main shaft bearing

Take a long bladed screwdriver. Place the tip against the case and the handle against your ear. It will act as a conduit for the sound and help you penpoint the area of the noise.

Then take it to a dealer and talk with them. Talk is free. Its when it goes on the rack that gonna cost.
