If you don't have a service manual, get one before doing your own work. Should tell you what you need to know.

To be honest, I don't know that it is, specifically. I haven't reached my next service level yet but decided after my 5k service (i.e. oil change [:@]), that I'd do them from now on. I'm tooled up, I think, but haven't gotten there yet. I was just saying you should have one if you are going to do any of the work yourself. You may want to try the search again or do it via google. I find it hard to believe it isn't out there somewhere.

It's in there 2007fxdc.

Starts on Page 1.
Section One is titled Maintenance.

The schedule is also in the Owner's Manual.
More good reading there.

Thnaks... hate to ask questions that have already been answered but thanks... I would let hapley do it but last time I had an oil leak from the filter. Turns out it was oil left there after the oil change.Oh... but im pretty sure cleaning the bike was part of the $300 dollars I spent... So.. if you didnt do that then what else didnt you do... Looks like this is turning into a rant... Moral of the story is... Your bike is safer if you do the work cuz youll be sure its done right.
