so my new fat cats arrived friday.

 

but over the weekend i got liquored up and Eureka! ima drill some holes in the new pipes.

i like to measure 4-5x and drill 2x- 1 pilot hole 1/8 then a stepped bit to 1/2"

so start taping and figurin........

 

i like what i'm seein, plus i laready drilled one hole so no going back now.

 

i got the bottom pipe all drilled up and mark up the top pipe, then i figured i better mock it all up and make sure everything lines up as best i can make em.

 

then it's off to the prep shop for a hand sanding with 150 grit to get rid of all the burrs and to smooth out a couple spots.
i finish that off with some 320 grit and then clean everything off with a wet rag

 

then it's off to the paint room for that special finish!
