Default Chrome & Rubber Foot Pegs: Opinions Please

Friends,

Any of you try these pegs? I want to swap the stock pegs on my 07 FXDC and these caught my eye. I worry about the rubber (HD sells a rubber refurb kit) and I worry about which size to get for the driver pegs, large or oversize.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks
Rick

Yes I had them put on when I bought my 07 LowRider. Seem to be holding up just fine. I liked them, because when the back ones are in the up position, all you see is chrome.

If you have forwards now, I'd say over size for the front and regular for the passenger. Before my current Kury pegs(Switch Blades), I had some extra long stock style pegs and they worked out better on the front, gave me a little more foot room(literally). With mids, you may be able to get away with the regular ones, though. Sorry I can't be more help.

I have them all the way around, mid, highway and passenger. I used the small for the highway and passenger and the large for the mids. I do have some trouble getting my boot under the shift peg, not that big of a deal, I usually upshift with my heel anyway. Looking back I would have used the smalls all the way around.

Those are the same ones I have on my 10 yr old bike. They have held up well. I also have the heel rests and 3" extended forward controls.

I got them... matching grips, peg and pedals. They look and wear awesome. But the pegs are slippery. Much more so than rubber.

Thanks, much appreciation for the feedback. I was worried the rubber might wear quickly. Now I need to figure out what size will be right for my mid (stock) peg position, small or large.

Big Thanks!
Rick

XKrome, thanks for the offer Amigo, but I've got my heart set on the HD pegs.

I have them on all Highway, Mids and Passenger. I haven't ridden in wet conditions so I am not sure if they slip. Good observation Top.

Domenic,

What sizes did you use to replace the mid (stock) and the passenger pegs?

Thanks,
Rick
