Supra,

We have the exact same set up.....Fat Bob with 1.75 Rush slip-ons. The rumble is normal and don't confuse it with decel popping. The whistle you hear when you shut your bike down is coming from the air filter/intake. It is the result of being able to hear the vacuum of the intake when shutting down..nothing more.

The rumble and whistle are both normal. My SG used to do both. Some people just get a huffing sound, but mine made a little train whistle sound every now and then.

I am thinking of getting Rush slip ons for my scoot. How do they sound? Did you guys all re-map? I plan on getting a Big Sucker and PCIII eventually, but I am a little strapped right now.

Love that deep rumble as well....
Sarge, I have the 2.0 Rush slip ons and they sound great...exactly the sound I was looking and hoping for...also did the Big Sucker then took it in to the dealer for re-map.....Runs great but have been considering the PCIII as well, need to do a little more research on that...I heard something about a new SERT ?

Enjoy [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

thanks for the info, i guess it is kind of a high pitched huff. i love the sound of the slip-ons, very deep, a little quieter than my old big radius but i like it. i didn't do a remap, i reason i went with the rush is because i'd seen posts here that they didn't require a remap, also what fuelmoto said.

I'm glad i wasn't the only one getting the whistle. I thought i was losing it at first. it still makes my wife laugh when i power down. but the Rush have a great sound. deep with a great rumble. honestly, i've not heard a better rumble than with the Rush.

I put on a PC3 and got a map from Jamie at FuelMoto and it runs great. A bit of backfiring now and again, but i think that's to be expected and doesn't hurt anything.
