Hey Tartan, Not sure if this was already mentioned. But what seat did you get to make the extra room? Looks in the photos that you went with a solo for the rack space.... You plannign to make it interchangeable?? Or stick the rack on perm and tell your "Sally" to catch the next bus.

I saw the rack on her! Looks good. Got me thinking about how I could get one to work in conjunction with my QR back rest. I don't like the looks of the one from the MOCO.

Dogs Bollocks. I got quoted £126 ($252) for the standard Harley bob tail fender rack from my local dealer (robbin b'stards). I don't mind paying reasonable money for a good product but that is just a rip off.

I bend pipe from 1/2 inch all the way up to 4 inches all the time . just find an electrician with a hand bender the appropriate size and borrow it you can put any angle on the pipe you want.

I got the sundowner off ebay Triman but not been out yet due to weather , ankle and nail in tyre !!!

"She who must be obeyed " won't get on the bike so dont need the seat however tried to make the rack strong enough to sit on in emergency and trying not to have to fit bags for trips.

I am trying to locate the bracket to the existing holes in the fender so if I ever want to get it back to stock I can.
