Do these Sylvania Silverstar bulbs plug into the stock headlight assembly or do you need to swap out for a larger headlight?
Direct plugin, same socket.

NAPA BP1210H4 80 watts low, 100 watts high.Much brighter than stock.Iuse them in my 03 Dynaglide and my 01 Sportster. I have never had a problem with increased heat, but I run on low beam most of the time. Some warn of heat melting the connector plug, but I have never had a problem.Bothconnectors stilllook like new.Cost around10 bucks.

Putting in the PIAA on my FXDL, and Hubby is having 3 put onto his Heritage Softail . Our harley dealer suggested them over the sylvania. I'm sure because they are more expensive, However I did some research on the PIAA prior to his recommendationand found more people actuallyliked them over the silverstar. But for the Price, the Silverstars are a good choice as well.

Not sure exactly what your'e asking. If you asking if the H4ST is easy to install in the original MOCO headlight, the answer is yes. Very easy.
