Did you have to take the handle bars off or anything to get the socket on it?

According to the 06 Dyna Parts Manual, all 06s are 1.5". I wouldassume since davidwideglide06's 08 is also 1.5", all 06 up models would be.

Its an 1 1/2" and yes you can get to it with the bars on. When I first started dealing with it the bike was fully assembled. When I do it now it wont matter the bikes in about a hundred pieces.

Thanks a bunch for the heads-up. I'm ordering the washer today. I'm under warranty but there is no way I'll let the dealer screw with my bike on something like this.

I'm the proud owner of a 2007 Street Bob with the infamous clunk. Thanks to forum I have known the reason ever since I got it, but have never taken the time to get it corrected. It just now occurred to me to ask - is there any danger until I get it corrected?
