Rush makes Fat Bob slipons that lok great. Even my HD dealership says that the 1.75 baffle size can be put on without retuning, but they still recommedn it. I got the black Rush slipons (1.75) with chrome tips). Took me less than 20 minutes to change them out. 2 clamps and 2 mounting bolts. The slipon piping is actually smaller diameter than stock.

Of course they recommend retuning. The pic below shows my FB with Krome Werks slipons. They look just like stock but sound awesome. No retuning and the bike runs great. After install the service writer says "Oh, just slipons, you'll be fine. I thought you were putting on a new headers too." Yea, sure you did.

Default New Denim Black Fat Bob 2009 owner

O man, I bought my new Fat Bob Nov 7th 2008. It's the Black Denim 2009 FXDF. I need to go buy a new digital camera now that I have a reason to take pictures. Don't need a camera for the Holidays, vacations or girlfriends. But I do need one now for my new Fat Bob.

This is my first Harley and of course I can't believe how long winter will be for me. Once I hit the 1000 mile mark. I'm at 56 miles right now. But, after the 1000k mark I want to add the Big Radius 2 into 1. I see they have the new Black VH BR 2 into 1 but can't find anyone who has it with photos.

Is there plus and minuses to the Black pipes? Am I better off with chrome?

I know it's a personnel choice but I can't decide!

BTW I purchase my new S&W .500 in celebration of my new Bob. I'm in love with both!

New proud Fat Bob owner here...vivid black, Rush 1.5" chrome slip-ons, Kuryakyn Panacea LED Taillight System with integrated rear and front LED turn signals, HD Dark Custom Timer and Derby covers, and True Track stabilization system. Sitting in the dealership until the snow stops flying here in Ohio...I stop by the dealership to visit her every couple weeks, LOL!

Haven't taken one of mine since I installed, but there's another thread somewhere in HDForums that has good pics of another guys bile with them on. THe black with chrome tips are great looking.. but hey.. it's a personal choice. If I can find the thread, I'll post link.
