All- Called the dealer in Cool Springs - no questions asked he said they would order a new headlight bucket and to bring it for replacement. Hopefully this was jsut a flawed part!

Enough lurking, I finally picked up my Bob (Black Denim) last Friday and have been trying to put some miles on it. I've been following the forum for a couple of months now while I've been waiting and the cost ofthe bikehas increased accordingly! I changed my mind numerous times on the options but finally settled on the 103" Stage 2 kit, Heavy Breather, V&H's Big Radius and the SERT, I figurethe wifecan only burn my stuff on the lawn once right? I just picked up the Sundowner seat but will have to wait for the weather to clear up before we can test it; they're forcasting 2"-4" of snow tonight!!?@*!! Spring, can't live with it, can't skip past it...

I've had lots of bikes before but this is my first HD, what a BLAST!! It's all testoserone, loud and torquey... I don't know what they're like stock but even with the breakin tune, it's got a lot of jump!

Bear with me while I figure out sigs and pics etc.

Mark...

No front end clunk but I noticed when I use the front brake heavily I hear a winding down kinda noise and asked the dealer about it. Someone road tested it and told me it was because of the holes in the disc.Because our frontFatBob discs have more holes than ordinary Dyna discs. Just look at your rear disc you will see there is a difference.

I don't have it, but there has been talk on this forum of front end clunk on new Dynas and apparently there is a washer that cures it, and it should be taken care of under warranty. Talk about it, and if you do a search of the forum you should find info about the company bulletin and even part number. . . .

Just picke dup the bike yesterday but notices a wierd hum or whizzing sound when I downshift back to first when coming to a stop. Pitch is speed dependent.

Normal or should I take it to the dealer?

Mine is buzzing from the front brakes when they're applied, not sure if that's normal or not.
