good to hear, always wonder about price difference btw RSD and most other brands. I've had mixed experience with RSD - love my RSD leather riding jacket but quality doesn't quite match the price and that's def true for a heavy cotton RSD riding jacket. about to put some RSD vintage bars on the bike, so we'll see.

digging your paint choices, by the way...

Thanks. For some reason I just keep messing around with the look of this bike. It's all back yard shenanigans, learning as I go. Keep telling myself I'll get it done right eventually, but wind up living with it for awhile, liking it, then thinking of something else to try...

I think the RSD stuff is cool. I got that AC back in '09 because I was bored of all the traditional ACs and these contrast cuts were new and different. I still like it, but the bike is looking more like it needs an S&S teardrop now...

Nice ride! What seat is that? Any passenger feedback on a day ride? Thanks

I bought my Fat Bob in August this year. First Harley. I used to ride rockets so this was a big change. But I love it. Clearly every owner in this thread picked the right bike.
Anyways here's my beaut in Amber Whiskey.

I haven't done a whole lot yet. But here's the list so far:
- downtube bag
- aftermarket mirrors
- drag specialties slotted black levers
- Cycle Shack baffles in stock mufflers

Love the Le Pera Stubbs. Like how the red accent works with the tank. Nice speedo too.

Great color. Yeah, whole different head space on the HD. My wife still has a few sportbikes in the garage. They are fun as hell to take out for a spin, but they really thrive on specific conditions. Harley's are pretty much perfect whether you're idling at a light, blasting a canyon road, or eating miles on the super slab. Hell, I just like to look at it even. Never gets old. Enjoy and welcome.
