Hi everyone - one more FXDF (2008 yr) here:
And one more question - is rhere any way to relocate passenger pegs from the swingram? Vibrations on them is terrible! Unfortunately, the frame is too deep on this Dyna, so I cannot locate pegs there...thinking about mounting them on the upper nut of the rear shock, but not sure.

TabackiJackal,
Mounting to the shock could be a dangerous idea. As if any boot straps or other footwear items get caught in the rear pully that could cause alot of problems.
Check out the H-D Adjustable Passenger Footpeg Mount Kit. Part #50736-09
There is alot of linkage that might absorb some of that vibration.
Hope it helps.

New Member - 2008 FXDF - central Oregon
Another 2008 FXDF - purchased Pre-Owned then sidelined to make the necessary preferential "custom" personalization. Got it to the stage I can now ride it proudly - also ran out of disposable income so the additional refinements will have to wait until this winter.
Have yet to refine the PowerVision tune. Getting ~ 39-40 MPG,...? Is that about par for limited in town and 80% open road riding?
Great performance and handling!
