I am looking for some help on upgrading my 09 fat bob tires to something wider.
I am looking at the Cobra Avon`s. 200 in the rear and a 10 on the front. Will this fit my stock wheels . Or do i need to change anything to make this work. There was a post somewhere on here and can`t seem to get back to it .

hey carseller, I went with www.spacerjim.com, only $47 delivered, you would have to get two 5inch bolts, got mine at ace's probably cost me another $4. did't have to change cables , took me about 7 minutes to change. delivery was quick too. actually I gonna take some pics for you.

thanks sevendcmc, I had the military contractor move my bike when I moved and they strapped it right across the back fender , couldn't stand looking at the scratches while waiting for my claim so I got done to cover it up and ended up liking it

These tires will fit the stock rims:

Avon Cobra's
200/60/16VR
150/80/16VR

Not sure what you mean by a "10" on the front.

It's what I'm going with when I change 'em....

The size and type of mirrors is directly proportional to the height of the bars you use. Taller bars help get you to see past your shoulders...

Ya , my bad. Instead of 10 it should have read 150. Right on thanks for the help. I will be ordering these today then. Did you notice any different handling with the wider tires ? Besides the Avon's are a softer compound.

Manu, thanks a lot for the info and for posting those pics. How much higher did it take the bars?

Once again I am glad I joined this forum.
