Fat Bob Squadron - owners check in!
#1691
Just picked up the '11 fat bob friday afterwork. rode it a good 70 miles home and another quick jaunt before the family came over for Mother's Day. Awesome. Waiting on the sundowner seat and detachable backrest for my wife. Now trying to figure out what bags to get. No mods on the bike as of yet...very rare for a Harley.

Some Changes to the Fat-Bob
As like others, I really like my Bob. Although, I have made some changes to it cosmetically, to make it mine (as seen in the pic).
This week I start on motor modifications as my parts seem to have arrived at the dealer on Friday, so I can pick them up later today (hoping they are all there). I hope to have the heads polished and ported by Thursday so a friend can shave them on the Bridgeport on his day off (Thursday), that way I can put the motor back together by Saturday morning and have another friend re-dyno the bike on Saturday afternoon. If all goes well this week.

Seat
I know there are probably many posts out here in regards to "what's the best seat" for my bike, but I want to stick with the Squadron for recommendations for the same question. Bought my 2011 Fat Bob last year and have chalked up a few miles on it. At least half of those are with the girl friend, who is beginning to really complain about the seat being very uncomfortable. This is beginning to take its tole on how far and how often we ride together. So I am requesting any guidance from other Bob owners that may have replaced their seat (mainly for passenger comfort). I like the stock seat and how it flows with the curves of the bike. Im trying to figure out how to balance the comfort for her, yet not change the looks of the bike to dramatically. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
