Thingfish, that is just amazing mate! let me know if the paint hold up after a few miles.
I did my first experiment with the rattle can today, found that the Dulux Flat Black matches pretty well with the denim black on my bike. I spray painted a spare horn cover I had here, and it did come out great. I'll play around with a spare air cleaner cover as well... want to see if I can do some shapes with flat black and gloss black.
Want to make sure I get it right before spraying the mounted parts.

The shapes idea sounds cool. I'm guessing you'll be painting the whole thing one color, letting it dry completely and then taping off the shape to paint with the other color. Should work great. Not sure which would work better as the base color. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Checking in with the new mods on my wides 08 FXDF. Blacked out the exhaust and headlight bucket, moved her turn signals and added the smoked black brace winshield from HD, Linby multi bars and new HD battery band. I love riding my wifes bike!
