Greg,
This is what the HD 4-!/2 looks like when mounted.

I will not pretend my $95.00 light is as nice as the Harley light. I just simply do not have pockets deep enough to justify spending that kind of money on a headlight. For the money, I am extremely impressed with the light I purchsed through Eastern. Having installed it and used it for a couple months, I can not imagine what about the Harley light makes it 3.5 times more expensive. May be my own way of making myself feel better about not be able to afford the Harley light.
I'm with you. Had mine on through 2 severe rains, numerous washes and have no issues what-so-ever. Looks just like it did coming out of the box when I got it. And at that price, if it last 4 years, I can replace it 3X (12 years) for less than the cost of the MoCo's price.

Shorerider ya had me close I was at the website (EP). was ready to buy but I could hear that friggin voice in my head again, NO! NOT THAT ONE, the nice one (You buy HD and you buy one time)
Yea some have had no problem and if ya are short on the duckets, Eastern seems to be the best for aftermarket according to you guys. But for me, I think I'll just save my pennys and maybe put in a few extra hours of OT at the "saltmine" and get me the real deal

Funny thing about accessories is most are made by the same manufacturer. Drop an HD logo on it and itsworth more than double the price ? I held my 95 dollar EP headlight next to a HD 325 dollar light, and just couldnt see the money difference. I'd rather spend the $95 for a nice headlight (which I did) and have and extra 200 or so for more goodies. Ive used my headlight in heavy rain, washes, ect....no problemo. JMHO

Is the HD Bullet light prone to wobble/vibration, like the stock light on my 07 Softail Custom?
Thanks

I've read that HD chrome is better, and I wanted to make sure the light quality was good. As you say, even with 20% off it was alot of money, but it really helps my bikes look. You could try the trim ring approach for less. One thing to consider is if you plan to put a windshield on, I'm not sure you get the full look improvement.
