Today I'm totally bummed out. Two weeks ago I scored a large bikers friend off ebay, used once for 125.00. I bought it for Laconia this spring. Unfortunately I never received it and it appears it has been lost. The seller shipped it USPS Priority with no tracking options.

Sorry that I can't ad anything constructive to the conversation about bags, but mcro's post got my interest!
That's precisely why I will not ship anything bigger than a letter with USPS. If someone insists on shipping me something through USPS, that's a deal breaker. UPS, Fedex, or DHL only.

I have the Large Bikers friend and it's great. I looked at some of those other ones, the Kuryaken and T bag, and neither were as nice as the BF in my opinion.

I've used both and found very little diferance.. Both are very good products. But both are to large for my liking, as stated earlier they look like your hauling around a keg. I found a smaller version from a company named Jafrim (I think). It was under $50.oo. Works great as a back rest, and as a local saddle bag replacement. If I plan on a long run I will use one of the others (carry more stuff)
Hers a shot on the smaller one

Now say you meet a woman with the... umm... "assets" of that pix.... where she gonna sit???? you cant even "fender" her back to your place..... reason # 3 for strengthening your back and abs

Jake,

That's a good lookin' bag, will it mount without a sissy bar?

Thanks,
Rick

There are different mounting options with the straps, but I bought it for the handlebars.

RonnR, how much stuff can you put in there? Specifically clothes; couple pair of jeans and a few shirts? Or is it just good for an overnighter?
