Default jack adaptors for my Dyna

Where can I get a set of jack adaptors for my wide glide?
Do I have to buy them from the stealership or can I get them somewhere else?
I am picking up a jack tomorrow from Sears and I would like to get the adaptors at the same time. It is supposed to rain tomorrow so it will be a good time to get my bike off the ground and go through it.
Thanks

+1 for the 2x4"s, but the adapters are only 25 bucks. Chump change when you own a Harley.

got mine from the dealer, he had them in stock, and they made it a breeze to lift the WG.

I knew that I needed them so I got the dealer to throw them in for free when I bought my bike. It was the least they could do. I paid MSRP.

Ok.. I went to the dealer and the parts guy didn't know what I was talking about. J&P cycles has a set for 1999 and newer Dynas. No help from them on a Sunday. Anyone out there with a 1998 or older Dyna that uses the adapters? Thanks

Hi,

I got the H-D kit - 'Twin Cam 88 Lift Adapter kit' #98965-99

More expensive than 4x2 but works well and is quite stable.

You can just see it on me lift 3 x orange pads that clip on the frame and a flat plastic channel that slides on the sump guard!

Hope this helps

Ian

Just made some out of 2x4 lumber. Drilled a hole partway thru and epoxied a steel pin in place. Cut the wood to the width of the jack plate. Waiting for the epoxy to cure now.
