just ordered these wheels for my fxdf, they're out there! [pic]
16x3.5 17x6.25 f/r
my bike is denim pewter, the red in the wheels is the same as color picked for pinstriping. it's similar to a red anodized finish but it is powder coated very thinly.
overall scheme is
denim paint with candy apple red/white/gray pinstriping
all black motor/exhaust.
chrome front end, headlights, etc.
most of the front wheel will be covered up with the brake system so my goal is to just have the red wheels pop out but not really overwhelm the rest of the scoot.

Well hell, you're getting rid of the BEST part of the bike. Well, OK, after the driveline, frame and tins! Those wheels MAKE the bike and you're taking them OFF??? Whatever dude, your bike...... Myself I'd try painting the original rims that color, but again your bike.

I can recommend Aerocoat in the UK if you want your wheels powder coated:
