You were right Super01, the battery wasn't dead at all. I put it back in and made sure the terminals were tight and the bike started right up. Good call!

Glad that's all it was, much cheaper than a new battery.
Did you ever figure out what caused the blown fuse?

No, I didn't find any chafed wires, no shorts anywhere. It didn't seem to be a moisture problem either. I replaced the fuse but still haven't put a load on it. No idea what could have blown the fuse.

The morning I woke up in yours, I had no idea where I was............. I needed a cup of 12VDC coffee and had blown my 15 amper for the lighter socket.
Yeh, I think the coffee pot draws closer to 6 amps............. I did get a pot outa your bike, just before the fuse popped
Had no idea it was your bike until I read your thread..................Next time I'll use Skips CrossbonesBet it only makes black coffee.[8D]

That was just your bikes way of telling you it's too f'ing cold to ride. This weather we have been having is the *****. I rode today for the first time in 3 weeks. The bike fired right up and I didn't have it on a charger. I did put some Sta-Bil and fresh gas in it on the way home though.
