If this is the one you have the Motherwell site says it will only work with the upright license plate.

They do make several that will work with the laydown plate including one that bolts up like this one but is designed to work with the laydown plate.

Motherwell Dyna website here

If you've got to get rid of it you can probably sell it on this site as quick as ebay without the cost of advertising.

Good luck!

Hey, thanks to all for your suggestions. I will check out the motherwell site.
and as far as the rack that I have, it just bolts on the bottom of the lic plate
bracket and the seat bolt. Would be nice to have the quick detach one, but I
am going to try and make this one work. I think I will have to end up with a
regular straight up lic bracket. As far as the extra luggage space, I am planning
a trip to Austin to the ROT ralley in June. And sometimes I might want to take
TAZ or the GRINCH along for a ride.
Again thank you to all for your time and research.

RIDE SAFE!!!!

Rack comes in handy if you plan on really doing some over nighters. Makes it a lot easier to attach a sissy bar bag. I keep one on my wideglide at all times.

If the ride you are talking about was a group with
dallastx that left off of 75N to Aubrey and back down
35. then yes I was with ya.

By the way, congrats on your new Bike--Real Nice.

Yep Blackheart that was the one. It was warm that day Geez I can't wait for better riding weather. It was a hurried ride if I remember correctly. I like to take my time and see the sites everyone was running like someone was chasing us.LOL. Thanks on the bike best purchase I have made.

Ride Safe and you got a nice looking scoot there.

Here is a before and after picture of my StreetBob, I picked the bike up with 227 miles on it. the bags and luggage rack were the first things I took off when I got the bike home. I guess if I wanted that sort of stuff on a bike I would have bought a bagger with a radio etc.

Looks like you really removed the bags and rack,,Took detach hardware off, and moved your turn signals back to stock position.

I sold it all on ebay after I removed it, I tried selling on the forum classifieds but nobody wanted it. I hated the way the rear signals were relocated so I had to move them back to stock location and make the bike fit my tastes.
