Holes in fender after removal of license plate?

RE: Holes in fender after removal of license plate?
I went to the dealership and got a few of the black plastic push in plugs for 23 cents each. I would like to find a spare rear fender so that I could weld the holes shut and smooth them out but for now the plugs work just fine and with the flat black paint the plugs are not that noticeable.

RE: Holes in fender after removal of license plate?
Looks like some good recommendations above.
I've got a similar problem... but on my Front fender.
I don't want to put plugs there, so I'm going to try to find something to put over the holes. Maybe some sort of badging, or trim of some sort.
Guy that had my bike before me mounted a big screamin eagle head on the front fender. I didn't realize it was through-bolted until I went to take it off yesterday. To make matters worse, it wasn't even centered properly. So now I've got two holes in my front fender about 6 inches apart. The front hole, near the lip is not centered.
Ideally, I'd like to just get a new fender, but I don't think that would be very affordable.
