I've just recently changes the paint job on my '03 FXDWG and have bought brand new factory badges/emblems for a FLHX Street Glide - you know, the written 'Harley-Davidson in chunky chrome (similat layout to the SB but high chrome) I like the SB badges (that distressed alloy look is wicked) but they probably suit the SB paint far better.

Anyhow, I've stuck them on with bits of Blue-Tack to get the idea and they look brilliant, BUT it also looks kinda cool without!!

I figure it should have the name on, but then why??, it looks a bit bare without maybe?

Two of my buddies reckon yes definately on! and two reckon it spoils the paint job!!

So if you guys have got time, a few opinions would be appreciated

Nice paint. i'd vote 'no badges'. bike looks more custom without and do you need to advertise moco? go without a while - you can always put them on later if you decide but once they're on - they're on.

Nice paint. I think I'd leave them off, you have an emblem on the battery box already.
